Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on scope, pricing, scheduling, licensing and how we handle your data.

INGG is an independent engineering and facility performance consultancy. We assess mechanical, electrical and logistics systems in commercial and industrial buildings, then issue documented recommendations covering condition, energy performance, compliance and capital replacement planning. We are advisory only — we do not install, sell or maintain equipment.

Our office is at 610 Michigan Avenue, Tallahassee, Florida 32309, USA. Our core service area is a 250-mile radius covering North and Central Florida, South Georgia and Southeast Alabama. Multi-site portfolio clients are supported nationally, with travel costs disclosed in the proposal.

David Martinez, the owner and principal consultant, leads and signs every engagement. Where a project requires licensed electrical, controls or fire-protection specialists, they are named in the proposal before you sign.

A single-building ASHRAE Level I energy audit typically runs $2,400–$4,800; Level II work $6,500–$14,000; arc-flash studies $4,500–$18,000. All work is quoted as a fixed fee against a written scope. Indicative ranges are published on our Services page.

Standard scheduling is 5–10 business days from a signed scope to the site visit, then a draft deliverable within 10 business days of field work on standard scopes. Larger portfolio engagements run 6–10 weeks. Expedited scheduling within 48 hours is available for an agreed fee.

No. INGG holds no manufacturer relationships and takes no referral commissions or installation revenue. Our independence is the reason clients accept our conclusions. If you need contractors, we will help you write the bid documents and evaluate the responses.

Yes. Where Florida utility incentive programs apply to a recommended measure, we prepare the supporting documentation package so the application is not delayed by missing engineering evidence. We do not guarantee approval, which rests with the utility.

INGG carries general liability and professional liability insurance; certificates are issued on request during procurement. Engineering work requiring a professional engineer's seal is performed or reviewed by licensed PEs within our specialist network, and the responsible licensee is identified in the deliverable.

Drawings, utility records, findings and photographs remain the property of the client and are not published or shared without written permission. We sign client NDAs as standard and can work under your own confidentiality template.

Building type, approximate square footage, location, the problem or decision you are facing, and your deadline. Twelve months of utility bills help considerably for energy work. A 30-minute call is usually enough to produce a written scope.

Yes. Follow-up questions on a delivered report are included at no extra cost. Many clients retain us for annual re-reviews, capital plan updates, owner-side commissioning oversight or bid evaluation on the work we recommended.
